In July 2009, Industry Minister Tony Clement and Minister of Canadian Heritage James Moore began hosting public consultations on copyright policy in Canada. Unlike the last attempt at copyright reform (Bill C-61), the Canadian public is now being encouraged to participate in the process. The Government of Canada is currently accepting written submissions and holding a series of town halls and round table discussions across the country from July 20 to September 13, 2009.
Audio, video, and written transcripts of past round table and town hall meetings will be available here.
